Below are some examples of 2 day and 5 day course programmes we run.  Please note: course programmes may be different than that below and will be given on an individual course basis.

The practices outlined below, with key coaching points, are undertaken for each technique before the Soccer Star tests are completed.

2 Day Course Example

Monday, Day 1 - Dribbling / Speed / Passing / Running with the Ball
9.30 -10.00am-Register / General Introduction / Warm Up / Health and Safety
10.00 – 11.00am – Dribbling techniques, drills and games
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.15-12.30pm - Soccer Star Challenge x 2–Dribbling and Speed
Cool Down
12.30-1.00pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.00pm -1.45pm – Short / long lofted / driven passing techniques and drills
1.45pm – 2.30pm – Running with the ball techniques, drills and relays
2.30 - 2.45pm – Refreshments
2.45 – 3.30pm - Soccer Star Challenge – Running with the Ball
3.30pm-4.00pm – Small Sided game play / Cool Down

Tuesday, Day 2 – Shooting / Turning / Heading
9.30 -9.45am - Register / Warm Up / Ball Familiarisation
9.45 – 10.45am – Close Range / Long Range Shooting techniques and drills 
10.45– 11.00am - Refreshments
11.00 -12.00Soccer Star Challenge – Shooting
12.00 – 12.45 – Turning to create space - techniques & drills - Cool Down
12.45-1.15pm – Lunch
1.15 -1.45pm - Soccer Star Challenge - Turning
1.45 – 2.30pm - Attacking and Defensive Headers – techniques and drills
2.30pm – 2.45pm – Refreshments
2.45-3.30pmSoccer Star Challenge - Heading
3.30pm-4.00pm – Small Sided game play / Cool Down - Course Finish          Certificates sent in the post after result analysis.

5 Day Course Example

Monday, Day 1 - Dribbling / Speed
9.30 -10.00 Register / General Introduction / Warm Up / Health and Safety
10.00 – 11.00 – Dribbling techniques, drills and games
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.30-12.30 - Dribbling continued with relays (Cool Down before lunch)
12.30-1.30pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.30pm -2.15pm – ‘SAQ’ – Speed, Agility and Quickness exercises
2.15pm – 2.30pm – Refreshments
2.30-3.30pmSoccer Star Challenge x 2 – Dribbling and Speed
3.30pm-4.30pm –Small Sided game play / Cool Down

Tuesday, Day 2 – Passing / Running with the Ball
9.30 -10.00 - Register / Warm Up / Ball Familiarisation
10.00 – 11.00 – Short passing techniques, drills and ‘passing games’
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.30-12.30 – Long lofted passing / Driven passing techniques and drills
(Cool Down before lunch)
12.30-1.30pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.30pm -2.30pm – Running with the ball techniques, drills and relays
2.30pm – 2.45pm – Refreshments
2.30-3.30pmSoccer Star Challenge – Running with the Ball
3.30pm-4.30pm – Football Bowling / Small Sided game play / Cool Down

Wednesday, Day 3 – Shooting
9.30 -10.00 - Register / Warm Up / Ball Familiarisation
10.00 – 11.00 – Close Range Shooting techniques, drills and games
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.30-12.30 – Long Range Shooting techniques, drills and games
(Cool Down before lunch)
12.30-1.30pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.30pm -2.15pmSoccer Star Challenge - Shooting
2.15pm – 2.30pm – Refreshments
2.30-3.30pm – Volleying – techniques and drills
3.30pm-4.30pm – ‘Shooting’ Rounders / Small Sided game play / Cool Down

Thursday, Day 4 – Turning / Heading
9.30 -10.00 - Register / Warm Up / Ball Familiarisation
10.00 – 11.00 – Turning to create space - techniques & drills
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.30-12.30 – Turning drills continued and 1v1 Turning Attack Play
(Cool Down before lunch)
12.30-1.30pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.30pm -2.00pmSoccer Star Challenge - Turning
2.00pm – 2.15pm – Refreshments
2.15-3.30pm – Attacking and Defensive Headers – techniques and drills  3.30pm-4.30pm Soccer Star Challenge - Heading / Cool Down

Friday, Day 5 – Game based situations / Combination play / SSG's
9.30 -10.00 - Register / Warm Up / Ball Familiarisation
10.00 – 11.00 – Ball Control and Juggling Competition
11.00 – 11.15am - Refreshments
11.30-12.30 - 1v1 / 2v2 / 3v3 - Defending & Attacking play
12.30-1.30pm – Lunch (followed by Warm up)
1.30pm -2.15pm – Attack v Defence overload Scenarios
2.15pm – 2.30pm – Refreshments
2.30-3.30pm – Football Tennis / Volleyball
3.30 – 4.00pm Small Sided Games - Cool Down
4.00pm-4.30pm – Certificates awarded to all on completion of Soccer Star Challenges
4.30pm- Course Finish
